REGULAR SENSITIZATION SEMINARS ACROSS PUBLIC AND PRIVATE SECONDARY SCHOOLS
In view of the widespread viral trend of inefficient parenting/child follow-up, peer pressure amongst children in schools, emotional/psychological instability and ignorance engraved decision making measures of teenagers in secondary schools; premarital sex, teenage pregnancies, drug abuse, amateur occult practices, inappropriate alcohol intakes and smoking amongst several others have become a major eyesore faced by collaborative instruments and stake holders to the educational sector today.
UTF offers teenage sensitization seminars on issues like Sex, HIV/AIDS and Peer Pressure, psychological support and confidential counseling sessions to combat this fast deteriorating dilemma for thousands of secondary school teenagers in schools across the state.
The team in addition educates teenagers on necessary life skills, conducts medical counseling sessions on regularly encountered health issues in collaboration with the Foundations medical team, and makes donations of writing materials, sanitary pads, sanitary towels and other basic needs for teenagers in schools visited. Over 6000 children are empowered annually.
